But I doubt they're American, that place has pretty solid defence of free speech. It's Australia, Canada, etc that are making possessing drawing a criminal offence.

Really? REALLY? I get so tired of "American" stereotypes. The USA is as large as entire continents. There is no one trait that is shared by all Americans, just like there is no one trait that is shared by all Europeans. Also, porny art of underage characters is illegal in some countries, which means that even having it present on your dash could result in legal action, depending on who wants to prosecute.

Basically what I'm saying is shut the hell up and stop being an asshole.

England. The odds of being prosecuted for it are pretty much nil as far as I know, but I have a pretty serious trigger worry about the risk. That and I find it kind of icky in itself - I'm firmly of the opinion that the law banning it is unhelpful and overreacting, but a) it is still the law and I don't want to break it and b) I still don't want to actually see it.

Plus all the ones to this, OP. I'm not in either of those fandoms but I cringe mightily whenever one the SPN folks I follow starts posting graphic Weecest. Those are thankfully usually text based, so as soon as I start to read it, I can figure out what it is and quickly scroll on, but I still wish that anything along those lines would get a cut and a ts note.

I'd like Tumblr a lot more if people would tag shit, period. Tumblr Savior is great, but it only works if people actually mark their posts in some way.

Even getting people to tag would be a miracle. In my fandom the popular artists will just respond with a public "fuck you" and sic their fans on you for politely asking them to tag their porn. Of course, they're happy to tag it with the series name and character name so it gets lots of views, but screw anyone who might want to be able to block it.

Fortunately I've been on tumblr long enough that I've got a long, long list of people blocked and that usually does it.

Ugh, this. Not necessarily for the legal side, just because shota/loli is probably my biggest squick and holy fuck I do NOT want to see that shit. My number one wish for Pixiv is that they'll change the settings so you can filter out shota/loli as well as guro without having to switch off ALL R-18 stuff - I hate browsing the Zelda tag, and whoops, suddenly there's a nine-year-old being raped and just. Ugh.

And don't even get me STARTED on Pokemon porn >.<

Jesus Castillo was a clerk at Keith's Comics in Texas, and he was arrested after selling copies of Demon Beast Invasion and Urotsukidoji to an undercover cop. This still freaks me right the fuck out and makes me concerned about some yuri (shoujai) fanart on my computer. It's mainly the poses that hit a kink of mine and make me want to write about it and use for reference in my fics for body posture/gestures. The characters look young, but I always age them up in mind while looking at the pics. So, even if they're 14-ish looking, I'm going what a young looking 25 yr old. LOL. I really should delete them, but I don't wanna.
