Actually, it's exactly what it sounds like. Castiel is an angel. Occasionally, he touches people's souls. It's a thing. Not one of the better parts of his character (it's just kind of cheesy and weird) but fandom has grabbed onto it and hasn't let go.

And think about it: Bobby also got soulfisted when Cas needed a recharge! Something could happen that would weaken Cas, and Dean could offer up his soul.

It's not like it's out of the realm of possibility or anything like Dean and Cas making out.

I've seen all the Evangelion stuff ever and I can't recall anything she did that was particularly German. Not even her name is even though she's supposedly German. I could be wrong... Maybe she said "Nein" or something?
