There are some changes to it, enough to keep it interesting. Plus, the fun of GRRM is in the characters and dialogues and much as the mystery and 'guess what happens (and who dies) next.' The actors are great and it's fun to watch their interpretation of the source material. But then again, I'm a Shakespeare fan who regularly goes to watch the plays, so obviously I don't mind seeing an adaptation of something I like, so long as it's good enough.
