My cat Kotori, 10 years old now, has some issues. I flipped my mattress over at the beginning of the month, and she completely freaked out on me. It's not like she's never seen me do this before I did it a few times where we lived previously and she was always fine, sometimes even in the way. Now in our new house, however she just couldn't deal.

As far as she's concerned since we've moved into the house I've also developed the amazing ability to transform into a terrifying stranger just be being downstairs in the kitchen. other than that she's her normal self all the time. I don't even know.

Give her time. New house, older cat - she's stressed. Just try not to change too many things, especially *her* things, and try to give her a little extra attention when you can.

We've been here since September. She actually adjusted pretty quickly, She's just always had strange quirks, and these are new ones. So I think I'm just going to have to adjust to them. Even when she was a kitten while I was still living with my parents she was kinda odd.
Like she's always been terrified of men despite being around my dad all the time. Then one time a friend of my brother's from school stopped by to visit, she came out of nowhere and was all over him the entire time he was there. She's never done anything like that again, and we've never been able to figure out what had her all over him, but the other cats leave him alone. The friend never came to visit again so we don't know if it was really just him.
