Historical context is actually really fucking relevant here though. It takes place in 1912.

not to mention the fact that the antagonist (who is also the protagonist) built a white paradise that is completely relevant to the historical significance of columbia and its drastic downsides

this is seriously the one game i can think of where the protag being white is the only thing that makes sense story-wise.
