All five Star Trek series have quite a few human x alien (and alien x different species of alien) pairings.

Buffy has Buffy x Angel and Buffy x Spike (human x vampire) and Xander x Anya (human x demon).

Doctor Who has the Doctor x River Song as actual romance, and heavy subtext with the Doctor x Jack and the Doctor x Rose Tyler. Plus a whole bunch of examples between one-off human and alien characters.

Lord of the Rings has Aragorn x Arwen (human x elf)

I'm too lazy atm to think of more.

Oh I guess that's right. I have a hard time keeping track of all the what-the-hell that happened in season 6...

Yeah, I'm not sure how it all was supposed to work, either. But we do see her regenerate (twice), so she's at least part Time Lady...
