Yeah, this. I'm a wimp and don't want it to be painful. And I'm sort of afraid of dying before I do the things I want to, but I'm not afraid of being dead. It's natural and doesn't have any of the pain of being alive.

Yeah...being dead seems like a comfort, and we're only sad about someone's passing because there not here on the same...plane WE are, and we don't know WHAT they're doing now.

Agreed. I know I'm gonna die; I've been to my grandmothers funeral and I was beside my grandfather when he drew his last breath; and I've made my peace with it.

But just imagining the process of it all scares me.
