Actually I'm more angry that Sean Penn and Sean Bean are both still being hired than that Lindsay Lohan isn't.

See the comment above this one, its about the insurance. although I'm not sure why you're lumping Sean Bean in with the other two, I cant say I've ever heard anything bad about working with him.

Lindsay needs to rebuild her credibility by working with some small indie producers, small roles, bit by bit, and she coudl work her way back. but it would take work

Sean Bean beat up at least three of his four wives and has been charged for stalking one of them.

Tom Cruise is a raging asshole -- and crazy, to boot -- and he's still getting roles. Hollywood loves a dickbag.

It helps that he's a damn good actor.

I think he's dreadful, personally. Seeing him on the credits makes me at least 50% less likely to watch something.

Yeah,80% of the time I don't see the character he's supposedly playing. All I see are the body thetans.

There's a film coming out shortly that I really liked the sound of, but Tom Cruise is in it so I can't bring myself to go see it.

And as a consequence of that, I can't even remember what the hell it's called.

But Tom Cruise = NO

He's an abusive fuck, just like Sean Penn

Terrible people are successful, terrible people are often very successful. Yeah it sucks, but when people know how to be professional and play the networking game, they are likely to get great jobs no matter how they act in their personal life.

But everyone needs to work, and it's kind of a dangerous thing to say "Well their personal life is a reason they shouldn't be hired."
