Idgi. If a fetus is 'not a baby/real person yet', why is it particularly reprehensible to kill a pregnant woman? If being pregnant vs not being pregnant is strictly 'something a woman chooses to do to her own body' then what gives it more moral weight then...idk, a woman who chooses to wear her hair long instead of cutting it?

The analogue here would be holding a woman down and forcibly cutting her hair. Which you can definitely get in trouble for.

I think killing someone who is pregnant is more or less morally equivalent to killing someone who is not pregnant. Forcibly terminating someone else's pregnancy is a different kind of wrong.

I believe my personal opinion is that a fetus is a potential life, and that's not nothing, but one's right to personal bodily integrity trumps every-fucking-thing else.
