25. CONCUR'D AND SIGNED. I don't have much of a grudge against the Zutara pairing itself, but I want all those fucking insane fans to get a hard slap in the face. Ship what you want, but don't pretend you're canon when you're not, because you're stepping on the toes of everyone who's trying to enjoy the REAL canon pairings without getting locked into debates about how they're wrong.

28. If anime fans have secrets to post, they're going to post them. They're not going to refuse to do so just because a few people think anime is icky.

Btw, we can like anime without thinking it's the greatest fucking thing on the planet. :) Stop generalizing, because it invalidates a secret I might have agreed with.

And scaring away other fans who like it because they don't want to be associated with The Crazy.

I'm uncomfortable admitting I even like the pairing outside of my flist because I'm scared other people are gonna go "Oh god, you're one of them" and treat every word I say as though I just stepped out of a psych ward.

Sure, I'd be happy if TPTB went there. But it's not the end of the fucking world if they don't. Avatar is such an awesome show that honestly the pairings are the last things on my list to fangirl about it.

I don't want anime fans to stop posting, I just want a more even balance. When I'm confronted with a secrets post that has 23 out of 27 secrets about anime, that doesn't leave me with much left to read. :/

Just because you don't think anime is that, doesn't mean there aren't people out there who do think anime is the best thing ever. I used to be friends with a couple of them. I got tired of hearing the same damn arguments that somehow anime is the most superior form of animation in the way it's drawn/animated to the plots/storylines, the characterisation, everything, and there was this bitchiness and snobbery about Western animation being childlike, infantile and poorly made. Somehow, the fact that anime can and is aimed at adults somehow makes it superior to Western animation. I don't know, maybe you've been able to avoid such fans, but they put me off anime with their bitching. :/
