I don't want anime fans to stop posting, I just want a more even balance. When I'm confronted with a secrets post that has 23 out of 27 secrets about anime, that doesn't leave me with much left to read. :/

Just because you don't think anime is that, doesn't mean there aren't people out there who do think anime is the best thing ever. I used to be friends with a couple of them. I got tired of hearing the same damn arguments that somehow anime is the most superior form of animation in the way it's drawn/animated to the plots/storylines, the characterisation, everything, and there was this bitchiness and snobbery about Western animation being childlike, infantile and poorly made. Somehow, the fact that anime can and is aimed at adults somehow makes it superior to Western animation. I don't know, maybe you've been able to avoid such fans, but they put me off anime with their bitching. :/
