I don't watch the show and don't happen to have any incest pairings that I ship in any fandom (and hell, I don't have any siblings either), but I think it's fair to point out that not every sibling relationship is exactly the same. The way siblings relate to one another can be hugely affected by birth order, gender, age gaps, the presence/absence of other kids around, individual personalities, and a million other things. What you see as "just being brothers" could come across very differently to someone who has a different relationship with their siblings.

This, a great deal. My brother and I don't touch each other. Like, at all. I dunno why, it's just always been like that, but it means that it's automatically weird to me whenever I see siblings being all touchy-feely and hugging and whatever. It's totally normal for them, but it takes me a second to remember that, since it isn't for me.

Likewise, I imagine that someone from a sibling relationship where they are great friends and hug all the time or whatever would look at my brother and I and wonder if we hate each other or something. (Which to be fair is a pretty good question. But usually the answer is "not that badly".)

Yea, I've never been the touchy-feely type with my brother either. I do understand it's not abnormal for other people to be, but it does sometimes catch me off guard.

Haha, exactly.
