I'm glad it's more acceptable these days for adults to enjoy stuff that's meant for kids, but I do agree that it feels awkward going alone. Part of me still feels like people look at me funny when I go to watch these movies, but I believe it's very important to go anyway. Because that's supposed to be the beautiful thing about growing up: you have the power to make your own decisions, and to do the things you like without someone hovering over you or telling you what you're supposed to do. Just remind yourself, OP: "I am a grown-up, and I can damn well watch whatever I please."
