There are people who do that?

Wanting to avoid spoiling others, I understand. Wanting to not post that kind of details about your work where everyone can see, sure. But outright refusing to tell someone who actually wants to know in advance, someone who prefers content or enjoys it more when they go in spoiled? I really don't understand the logic behind it.
