I don't get the fetish, but I don't question it. If it makes you uncomfortable, you can just ignore it or, if you have people telling you about it, say you're not comfortable talking about it.

I've noticed that people act like it's weird when siblings are close, like everyone is supposed to hate, ignore, or compete with their sibling all the time, and saying one semi-nice thing is a huge deal. If siblings are very close (or codependent like Sam and Dean) it may be seen as romantic, and I'm sure it helps if most find the actors attractive.
