Agreed. If this relationship was canon it would be creepy and unhealthy.

I think Sterek stans are fascinating in their delusions. I guess it's like any other fandom stans, but this fandom just seems to much more mainstream or loud or...something. I don't know, it's weird.

I think it's because it's aimed at a teenage audience. I mean, I love the show, but I fast-forward through the "Oh right, this is a teen drama, let's pause to have badly written dialogue, crying faces, and kind of hilarious make outs" parts and get on to the werewolves.

But it is a show aimed at teenagers, and teenagers get deluded and rabid about their ships. I think this show is different because it caught on in an older crowd, instead of going the other way?

You and I watch the show the same way, anon!

I don't know about the age thing. You would think that would be why, that teenagers get deluded and rabid, but then you look at some of the biggest crazypants names in the fandom and they're adults.

I'm convinced that it was a timing thing. I have no evidence but my theory is Teen Wolf fandom blew up in some weird time between other fandoms. So you had a lot of people looking for the Next Big Ship and Teen Wolf fit the bill. Which would also explain why a lot of the fans haven't even seen the show and why the fandom version of the characters are basically just this general type rather than canon characteristics. They're just in it for the fandom shipping.

I enjoy how they don't trust the actors to display the right emotions in some scenes and let you how you are supposed to feel by the music.

Ohh it's a slow but uplifting love song played over Scott and Alison... guess she forgives him!

Yeah but all movies and tv shows do this.

true true, but, if say Gregory House was having a sad but uplifting moment with something jazzy and sweet playing I would expect hie face, body language, his everything to reflect that. i would expect him to stay perfectly still whilst the song played so as not to disturb anyone.

I dig the pants off of teen wolf but frankly they are pretty terrible actors.
