Street prostitution is an offence in Australia, but in most states brothels are not (although some states require town planning permits and others restrict the number of people permitted to work out of said brothel). Escort agency work is not an offence under current law.

I'm pretty sure it's legal in France.
What is illegal is being a pimp (because it's likened to exploitation of human being) and also... how does it translate in English... touting? Soliciting?

The Netherlands, where you know the city Amsterdam is located. It'd be pretty weird for it to be allowed only in one city =/
