OP HERE.

Sorry, I worded this poorly. It's not so much that I can't take people with gaps between their teeth seriously but rather, well, I'm usually too distracted by their teeth to take them as seriously as I should.

The series I'm referring to is Torchwood (though True Blood was another), and I just can't get swept up in any of Gwen's emotional scenes because I become so distracted by her teeth.

I have no idea why it really bothers me so much, but it does.

Drop dead OP.

So, OP is bothered and distracted by trivial physical details, whereas you go around wishing people dead for having weird hangups. Way to seize the moral high ground there, anon.

Lol. You sound butthurt.

Lemme guess, you have a gap between your tooth, yes?

It's really your own fault that you can't get over such a minor physical variation and take them seriously.

I hope you're not like this IRL.

... Maybe you should stop staring at their mouth, then?

Hard to ignore the giant gaping holes when actors are filmed close up.

+1

Neither actress has "giant gaping holes" in their teeth.

Sorry, you can't backtrack how shitty and shallow a person you are.

Well, if it makes you feel better - in my opinion Gwen is annoying as hell, and most of the things she says/does are better not be taken seriously anyway.

Thing is I think she looks better with the gap than she would without. She's a very pretty woman. I don't actually like Gwen, I just find her annoying, but Eve Myles is beautiful.

I sympathize OP. I find people who have darker eyebrows than hair (usually blonde hair and brown eyebrows) completely untrustworthy and I've been trying to overcome it my whole life.

It's weird how such stupid little things can make a huge difference.
