I kind of wish he'd brought Clyde to the station with him... (-:

Sherlock: "He's a tortoise. And he's my ambulance."
Bell: "... I'll go get Gregson."

I can't think of anything cuter. Well, except for the fact that Sherlock used lettuce to represent money. (Lettuce is slang for money in the US.) And then the Clyde ambulance ended up eating the money-lettuce. That was so cute.

But I want to know Sherlock's mindset to how he came to thinking Clyde was a perfect ambulance.

"I need something to double as an ambulance. A shoe? No. A book? No. A coffee mug? No."
*Clyde moseys past and catches Sherlock's eye.
"Oh, the irony is perfect. Can't resist."

I'm assuming it's because ambulances are usually pictured rushing where ever quickly, and a tortoise would be...ironic, I guess, since speed isn't really their thing usually.
