A+ pic choice OP. That picture makes me want to see some villain pick the Doctor up by the collar, throw him flat on his back on the floor, wrap their hands around that beautiful bare neck, and beat/torture/rape him until he's too drained to scream in agony anymore and just lies there with that perfect expression on his face.

I don't think there's anything wrong with me. I mean, I haven't noticed anything outside of fanfic, and neither have my friends or family. I'm pretty sure more people feel the same than admit it.

I think Ten's very being is a flashing neon sign that says "pick me up by the collar, throw me flat on my back on the floor, hold me down by my hair, and shag me until I can't walk straight." Combine that with how goddamn exquisitely he suffers and you get into some really fucked-up whump fantasies really, really quickly.

I mean, damn, he just radiates it. It's like his superpower is to make women viscerally wish they could grow a dick for the specific purpose of pinning him against the nearest hard surface and fucking him into next week.

Of course, I'd then desperately want to see Donna burst in and beat the shit out of the villain with a bag of golf clubs. BUT that would be the cherry, not the ice cream.

I mean, seriously, most people ARE kidding themselves when they insist that all those other reasons are the only reasons. You only need to skim the person's fic to see what their motive is, the female-gaze* is almost always pretty damned easy to pick out, and the ones that truly are written solely for the comfort aspect or whatever are also damned easy to pick out.

I say female gaze because it IS almost always happening to male characters, by female authors.
