I was ready to just shrug and say "to each their own" and in the end I still will, but first:

If you honestly believe no one would put up with Sherlock being as big an ass as he is in the BBC version, you have not worked with some of the people I have. When someone is the best, the BEST at what they do and working with them means the difference between saving your bacon and you getting the walk of shame to the unemployment line, you will put up with all the pretentious, arrogant shit you have to. Then you complain about what an ass they are with your coworkers who all agree with you and are in the same boat you are.
