I have a yukata that was hanging on my wall, but I took it down to move, and want to wash it before I put it back up... Speaking of which does anyone have tips on washing yukatas?
I want to get an Obi to go with it but I haven't found one I like. I also have tabi, and geta, kept on a shelf in the old house I haven't put up here yet.

I also have a huge squash blossom necklace I inherited from my grandmother.

And I have some Amish stuff too, but it's all boxed up at my patents place

If your yukata is 100% cotton, I would just put in the washer on delicate, or hand wash. And hang to air dry. But if you don't know or are paranoid, you could always dry clean it.

I'll have to go with dry cleaning I think, thank you.
