Who has so much money they spend it on books or games they expect to hate? And if anyone like that is here, please adopt me?

You don't have to spend money, though? The things that I haven't been jazzed about and ended up liking were generally lent to me by friends.

I think it might be more along the lines of "I'm not sure if I'm going to like this, but it was on sale/free/at the library/found it on torrents so why the fuck not"

Libraries and gamefly.

You don't need to spend much to enjoy much.

l m a o spending money. If you have access to a library or gamer friends, it's pretty easy to have access to shit you hate.

Hahahah. People whiiiining about others having SO much money annoy the fuck out of me.

Of course you must be one of those holier than thou people who would never piracy anything but newsflash, we pirate those things we are not so sure we'd like and then buy them if we do/they are available where we live. Such a hard concept to grasp.

People whiiiining about others having SO much money annoy the fuck out of me. But...they didn't.

Newsflash: not everyone pirates media, not even for a trial run before purchasing.

I get all the people mentioning libraries because many people don't realize how many places don't have libraries anymore. But your comment is just stupid.

What's the point of posting a comment asking how people can possibly afford things they are not sure to like other than whine?

And I know that, and personally believe they are idiots but to each his own.
