sorry this is so long

I used Bare Minerals' concealer which I like because it's not heavy but it wears off after a few hours, which sucks. I don't like heavy makeup though, especially not on acne because I feel like it really exacerbates the acne.

If I have time in the morning (pfft) I usually just put on foundation and concealer and finishing powder and go, if I don't, I keep the concealer in my purse and put it on when I get to work. I only use mineral makeup at this point and most of it is made by Everyday Minerals which is actually based here in Austin, though I have to order it through the mail since I don't know who carries it here. It's super cheap compared to most mineral makeup: http://www.everydayminerals.com/

On the weekend, I do the same thing re: foundation but I use blush (I really like the Everyday Minerals Ambrosia shade and I also use it as eyeshadow) and mascara. I don't bother with lip stuff too much, I usually use tinted balms cause I don't have very full lips. I wish I didn't wear glasses because I like eye makeup A LOT. When I'm feeling capable I wear liquid liner, but I don't have a very steady hand so I'm still having trouble with it

When I can afford it, I like Benefit products. I use their mascara -- I would like to try others (like I've heard Chanel makes good mascara) but I haven't gotten to the point where I feel I can throw down that much money for makeup

A little tip for eyeliner: There is no need to do the whole line in one go, you can draw it bit by bit and that way it's more difficult to mess it up.

Thanks! Yeah, I have seen this technique on youtube but it's hard for me to do, I guess cause I have really wrinkly eyes (I blame it on crying all the time my whole life cause I can't think of any other cause, besides maybe genetics)

I haven't tried it myself yet, but this spoon trick looks promising:

Have you tried raising your eyebrows while applying eyeliner? My eyelids are quite wrinkly too, but I do this and they get smooth enough to apply liquid eyeliner (I'm still hopeless with the pencil-type ones because they get caught on the wrinkles, they aren't creamy enough to glide over your skin)

primer recs?

Crap, I forgot to recommend Nyx! I use their eyelid primer

I used to use primer before I put on concealer or foundation and it really makes the makeup stay on longer, but I ran out and haven't bothered to get more. I haven't found a brand that I'm 100% devoted to and I keep cycling through them (a lot of them are expensive, too), so I'm open to recs when it comes to primer
