Re: Breast reduction?

You have to still wear a bra if you're a B Cup.

As for reductions, let me just say I have never had one but I know a bit about them. They can cause numbness or loss of sensation in certain areas of the breast. It can cause scaring. I heard there are other complications that can arise but I'm fuzzy on them.

Your best bet, since most people around you seem to be size obsessed and not actually all that knowledgeable, is to make an appointment with a doctor and have a list of questions you can ask them about such a procedure. In fact, maybe they can refer you to a specialist with whom you can ask questions. On top of that, it might be good to talk to B Cups, you should talk to them about maintenance and stuff like that to see what will change and what won't.

Why would I still have to wear a bra as a B cup? I know several people in that size who don't and haven't for quite a long time.

Scarring would actually be kind of a plus for me, it's the loss of sensation and numbness I'm hung up on. :( I guess eventually I'm going to have to decide if I want smaller boobs more than I want sensation.

I did have an initial consultation with a doctor but ultimately felt too uncomfortable with him to pursue another appointment and he's the highest rated in my area. :/

As someone who is around that size, I can tell you that if you're just sitting on your ass at home you won't need to but if you're going outside you probably would. Besides sagging, people noticing, and crap I doubt matters much and all that, it can get very uncomfortable very quickly without a bra. I cannot move fast at all without experiencing quite a bit of discomfort or pain depending on my speed. Stairs are not fun without a bra unless I go very slowly. Depending on where you sweat, it could create discomfort when not wearing a bra but, again, this is really dependent on where you sweat. Some people sweat more around a bra and so that is more uncomfortable. And this is just me. You're probably going to want a lot of different people's input.

You may be able to reduce numbness but I'm not sure who you could talk to about that unless it's a doctor.

:/ Maybe you could request a female physician? But if you're uncomfortable with him you don't always have to go to the best of the best. I mean, what makes him the absolute best anyway? Also, I know my hospital lets me directly email my doctors. Maybe you could try finding something like that but for a doctor outside your area? That way you can ask all your questions without having to go anywhere and if you decide you want to you can then "shop around" for whatever doctor you want.

It wasn't his gender as much as his attitude towards me wanting smaller boobs. He was pretty much the only one I called who would even give me an appointment when they heard my age and what I wanted done. I didn't know you could e-mail doctors directly.

I did try and see if I could talk to a doctor in another city before going out for an appointment but got shunted off to a younger associate who didn't seem all that knowledgeable. I think maybe I'll try again and see if I can find someone who will e-mail with me before I make a trip like that just to be told what I want can't be done.

Thank you!

Agh, man, that sucks so much monkey balls. I'm sorry. I hope you find something that works out for you.

No problem. I wish I could be of more help.

i used to have b sized cups a few years ago, and doing things like running, jumping or really any movement along those lines made them bounce and it was really really annoying and kind of almost painful

but it might vary from one b sized boob to another? my boobs have never been very perky, so :(

Chiming in here, in the past few years depending on the bra and on my weight I've had around a B cup on average (sort of wide chest but small boobs) and yeah if you're running or wearing a tight tee you need a bra because they get all jiggly and uncomfortable and if you get cold boop nipples everywhere.

I get away with not wearing a bra when I wear a loose tee shirt but it's not hugely comfortable and I don't recommend it. I feel very naked and kind of saggy unless it's bedtime but I rarely do it in public. If you want to not wear one I suggest an A-cup although it all depends also on the width of your chest, and what the doctor will do for you <3

I go with the others on this thread and ask if you've maybe talked to a female physician because I know personally that would make me feel more comfortable should I have wanted a procedure like this done.

Fuck everyone though who tells you what to do with your body. You are still you whatever you look like on the outside, only in this case changing your body might make the inside you a happier you because of the outside :)

Good luck on whatever you choose <3

Before my visit with the doctor I actually did want an A but after discussion I'm pretty firmly set on B (not the effect he intended to have exactly). He showed me some examples of what a B cup would look like on a woman with my frame and I was pretty intrigued.

I kind of assumed I'd want a bra when exercising so that's okay. I'd probably wear a bra more often than not (especially since I'd actually be able to buy cute one for less than a small fortune now). I just really, really, really want to be able to buy a cute swimsuit or go braless if I feel daring.

I already get cold boop nipples through my thickest bras so that won't be much of a difference for me.

I wear B cup, but I would recommend that you wear a bra at least once in a while. It gets uncomfortable if you go without one for too long, at least for me. I guess some people are ok with it, but I don't like to go without when I am out and about. The only time I go braless is at home but that's usually right before I go to sleep.

If you don't care about sagging then I suppose you don't have to wear a bra at that size, but I don't like really want to take chances.
