I check twitter pretty regularly but I rarely notice Gerard's tweets. IDK why. Maybe because he doesn't post that often, or maybe I miss them. (Or just don't find them that interesting?)

Anyway, the breakup bums me out but it happens. (TBH I'd probably be more upset if FOB didn't recently get back together.)

He used to be kind of inactive on Twitter, but lately he's going nuts with the tweeting. It's really cute.

I missed them then. I hope everything is alright with him and the tweeting is just him wanting to be in touch with the fans. I didn't know the situation was as complicated as an anon explained below. :(

Yeah, the distraction of new FOB has really softened the MCR blow for me.

Oh golly, at first I thought this was a picture of Billy Joe Armstrong and I was freakin out. Sad about MCR not making music together anymore, but if they're all doing well for themselves then that's certainly something to be happy about!

JK but ya the fan base had a pretty intense meltdown over it. Gerard posted a super short message one night a while back that was basically like we're done bye, people freaked, so he wrote a novel length message that amounted to I don't like this any more (& may have relapsed) and we said we'd stop doing this when it stopped being fun so we're done an moving on but thanks, people freaked but started accepting it, then frank posted something that confirmed it some more (and may or may not have taken a shot at Gerard depending on who you ask). Some folks like to blame the Mikey situation but I don't think so. It seems way bigger than that and like it was brewing for a while.
