(Anonymous) 2013-04-17 01:03 am (UTC)(link)They've taken him too far from his original characterization, IMO, and also retconned some stuff that doesn't make sense to me in the context of what the King of the Crossroads would have done (demons who get a reputation for welching on deals or leaving out important information would quickly run out of customers! I wasn't impressed when he failed to return Bobby's soul either, for the same reason, and the show actually called attention to the matter in Season 7 when he said "This is Hell. We have a little thing called integrity." Sloppy writing.)
Anyway, I'm not sure I want to see him killed off, but he definitely needs to get out of the Standard-Issue Big Bad rut he's currently in one way or another.
