Lol, I love the condescension inherent in feeling "sorry" for someone else's views. If anything I'm generally insensitive because I'm just not extremely patient with things like this. If one has got a problem, as far as I'm concerned you should do something to either change your situation or, failing that, especially if you're stuck somewhere that that's impossible, your perspective and how you approach it. So much of life is a mental game.

Oh, well I guess I just read OP's post differently than you did. The vibe I got from it was that OP was still moving forward (I mean...you obviously have to), but just FELT like a part of them was missing/stuck and they finally figured out why.
I mean, deep down you may be able to be like oh well, I just have to move on...but I think there will really always be a part of you that misses those times (aka nostalgia).
Still, I don't think you had to say it quite like that/didn't have to share it in that way even if you DON'T have patience for it. No one ASKED you to comment on this like that and I'm sure that that doesn't really help OP with anything. It doesn't matter that you don't have the patience for it because not everyone is like that. In fact, you could've made your own secret about how you hate secrets like this. I just don't think it was constructive at all and felt more like bashing just for the hell of it. Anyways, that was my two cents.
