I have not played the game from your secret, so I'm probably missing something, but I do enjoy escort missions. And I too feel guilty when I fail and people die. And it makes me all on alert, looking out for dangers and keeping an eye on my charges.

The character is Eileen from Silent Hill 4. I haven't played it either but I know a fair amount about it and I don't think there's any particular significance to using her, except that she is a character who must be escorted (though she can at least protect herself to an extent).

I usually hate escort missions but Eileen is pretty cool. Give her a chain and we are team unbeatable. No submachine gun needed.
