Valancy is a lovely name, OP. Some might think of chemistry rather than Montgomery when they hear it first though, haha.

I loved The Blue Castle. I think I've read it more often than any of her other books. But I really dislike the ending; it's such crap compared to the rest of the book. Go away, random millionaire FIL!

haha, I actually kind of liked the ending. The foreshadowing was subtle and well-done, for me, and I really like the set of issues being a millionaire's kid gave Barney. And the FIL wasn't a terrible person, just a bit of a dunce. ;)
