Re: How do you deal with anxiety?
(Anonymous) 2013-04-20 02:19 am (UTC)(link)when i feel anxiety, i get physically ill (stomach cramps, indigestion, nausea, etc.), so at one point i got tired of feeling ill, and every time a wave of anxiety came in i would just say to myself "no, fuck this, i don't want to make myself sick. fuck it" or something along those lines, and just, deny the anxious thoughts, and keep doing or thinking whatever i was doing or thinking before the wave
and just repeat every time it happens
so each wave comes farther and farther apart from the last until they stop
