She talks about fandom all the time, and that by itself is nothing to be concerned about. Seriously.

Also, what do you mean by "she's saying weird stuff"? More info is needed, because from this secret alone you look like you're overreacting (and you probably are--you seem prone to hyperbole.)

It sort of is when you knew the person before they entered their fandom and they used to be interested in many different things. Fandom *can* consume a person for a short or longer while and when it happens it's annoying at best and scary at worst.
Believe me, it's creepy when you ask your friend how they are doing and their answer is "I just managed to find out the real name of that awesome cosplaer we saw a few months ago at InsertNameHere Con" x__x

They stalked this person for months to find out their real name. What a wonderul new "interest"!
And no, they didn't grow out of the things I was interested in. Where did I say that? They stopped being interested in multiple things they used to enjoy to spend hpurs and hours to stalk a poor guy they had never met before.
