OMG, is this the episode where Ulquiorra finally takes Orihime away (it's been ages since I've seen Bleach, so I apologize if it is). If so, then this is the episode that pretty much cemented my hatred towards Orihime. I've never liked her for obvious reasons (her being an air-headed, clumsy ditz with a creepy obsession over Ichigo), but I've also never HATED her-- at least until this episode.

I still get all red-eyed when I think about the way she chose to say goodbye to Ichigo of all people. There were so many other people she could have chosen instead, such as Tatsuki, HER VERY BEST FRIEND WHO PRACTICALLY RAISED AND PROTECTED HER FOR YEARS, but noooo, who cares about friends when there's a crush in the picture, right?

Ugh.

an air-headed, clumsy ditz with a creepy obsession

yes, it is indeed the return of the truly old-skool orihime-bashing
sad :C

You're just mad everything the comment said is true. Sorry you can't handle negative yet truthful opinions.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-20 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
i honestly haven't been buttmad about this since 2010
just feeling the warm glow of nostalgia

like i said, i ship rukia/orihime anyway and i'm a bit of a clumsy scatterbrain myself, so it's all good over here

Go back to Failberry, Dweebie.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-20 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Go back to FLOL :)

[personal profile] zer0ne 2013-04-20 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope. Not an IchiOri shipper. Just someone who finds it "funny" to see an IchiRuki troll bitch about old bullshit no one cares about anymore.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-20 10:40 pm (UTC)(link)
sure you aren't

Nah. It's missing the "with big boobs" part.

You defend the most shitty female characters.

You are so mad about this. It'd be funny if it wasn't so sad.

1. Tatsuki is still Orihime's BFF. Her feelings for Ichigo has not gotten in the way of her close friendship with Tatsuki.

2. The reason why Kubo showed Orihime saying goodbye to Ichigo instead of Tatsuki is because: a)Ichigo is the main character and hero of the story and b)Tatsuki is a freakin' side-character whose only role in the manga is to be Ichigo's muggle friend.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-20 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
What as Ichigo done for Orihime that Tatsuki hasn't? Be a stupid crush?

Besides, it's not Tatsuki's fault she's a minor character :(

(Anonymous) 2013-04-20 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, gee, I don't know, maybe saved her from her hollow brother who was going to eat her.

Maybe not, but I do get sick and tired of her fanbase complaining about her not having a bigger role in the story. Kubo already has more than enough characters to deal with in his story.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-21 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
You have to look at the relationship between Tatsuki and Orihime though. They are already in a super close friendship and don't hide anything between each other. Therefore, I don't think Orihime would feel like any feelings were eating away at her concerning Tatsuki. Ichigo on the other hand? That was her only chance to tell him how she felt in her mind, and she'd be more likely to do it while he wasn't awake because it took a lot of nerve for her to confess it in the first place. It was sort of trying to have some sort of conclusion to that because in her mind, she would never see any of her friends ever again. Besides, she knows Tatsuki really well. So what do you think Tatsuki would instinctively do if Orihime revealed she was being held captive by the same people who killed the entire judo team?

(Anonymous) 2013-04-21 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
While your reason #2 makes sense story-wise, it doesn't work so well character-wise. It makes Orihime seem like she's just kind of shoving aside her best friend. If Kubo wanted her to say goodbye to Ichigo, he should have worked in a better reason. It's sloppy writing.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-21 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, being third in your entire class certainly indicates an airhead!

Just because she acts silly doesn't mean she's stupid. She shown she can calculate her moves, has given insight into situations and people, and can hold her own.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-21 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
She shown she can calculate her moves, has given insight into situations and people, and can hold her own.

She hasn't done anything like that since the pre-SS chapters. Try again.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-21 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
Obvious troll is obvious. If anything, Orihime has taken more initiative and become more active since after her experience in Hueco Mundo. But since you're one of those trolls who think "winning a conversation = having the last word, no matter how stupid that last word is", I doubt you'll produce anything of substance to this conversation.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-21 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
Orihime has never been useful, she's like the annoying girl next door and she hasn't changed at all since Hueco Mundo. The only ones trolling are you Orihime-lovers who think she's hot shit.

Give me one example of her being useful since Hueco Mundo ended.
Let me guess, when she opened a window for Ichigo, right?

(Anonymous) 2013-04-21 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
...you've never even read the manga, have you?

(Anonymous) 2013-04-21 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
What?

(Anonymous) 2013-04-21 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
You must be soooo mad with current Bleach chapters, where the Isshin/Masaki story seems (in my opinion, anyway) to be forshadowing Ichigo/Orihime as canon. It's a good idea to practice your wanking now, so you'll be ready when the big wank explosion takes place.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-21 07:41 am (UTC)(link)
You Ichihimes love your Oedipus complex theories.

Try not to get too butthurt when Ichigo goes back and confides in Rukia about his mother and his origins like she asked him to since..what...chapter 17?

O hai.

(Anonymous) 2013-04-23 02:39 pm (UTC)(link)
PFFTHHAHAHAHA have you read that new chapter btw? Isshin's "Yo!" and lady carrying style? Isshin losing his powers to save someone? Ryukken being frustrated and feeling like it's Isshin's fault Masaki got hurt and that he has no right to save her? Remind you of anyone (ahem RENJI)?

Boy meets girl from another world. Girl saves boy. Boy wants to repay the debt to girl by saving her...LULS. You guys can officially fuck off with that "its only repaying a debt" thing because well...MASSHIN just proved you wrong so fucking hard. IchiRuki parallels everywhere.

Unlike IH, we aren't gushing about Masshin because Masaki "looks like Orihime", "has healing abilities", "eats and is carefree like Orihime". That is fucking gross. You are basically saying that you want Ichigo to date his mother. Rukia doesn't look like Masaki and they don't share the same personalities. IRs squee because Masshin were in similar situations and reacted strongly, confidently, and similarly to IR.

And tbh, I don't even take the Masshin parallels that seriously. It's just really damn fun to stomp IHs at their own logic.
