Oh, I would love to see this touched upon in an episode, but they've probably come to an understanding about it long ago. She goes along with it when he pursues distress signals and stuff when he picks them up, he goes along with it when she carts him off to dangerous situations when she picks them up.

I wonder who's got the upper hand there, though. I assumed the only way to really control her actions is to physically fuck her up like the Master did with the paradox machine, but I dunno...can he force her to land or take off or open her doors if she doesn't want to? It's never quite clear if he has control over that or if she could just hijack him whenever she wants if she doesn't like where he's going and just allows him to choose sometimes. On the other hand, I don't know the extent of what she's able to do TO him, but she definitely can dump him in the middle of a catastrophe and kind of go "what, are you gonna just leave them there?" knowing he never would.

Okay, that bit of fanwank got kind of dark and twisted pretty fast...
