Their relationship is pretty twisted and power-imbalanced if you think about it...but he does have the choice to just stop traveling (which he exercised, in The Snowmen) so I'm sure he wants her to keep doing what she's doing. She'd listen if he asked her to stop. Probably.

On the other hand, if he did decide to leave her, there's probably nothing to stop her from locking him inside her forever.

*sigh* It's a shame this secret didn't appear on the same day as that other "what makes you think I would ever give you back?" secret. I'm getting so many plot bunnies for how this could be taken in a really dark abusive direction...

I think Big Finish actually did something like this. I never actually listened to the story in question, but I heard about it. She was jealous of Charley, I believe. Or maybe I'm mixing up two different stories.

You are correct, anon. The story was called Zagreus (and I highly recommend it, btw), and the TARDIS took on the form of the Brigadier to torment the Doctor and his companions. Although the TARDIS was corrupted with anti-time at that point (as was the Doctor), so how much of that jealousy was genuine is up for debate.
