In all honesty, I don't blame you. The most recent seasons of the show are all about time-fuckery and can really mess with your head if you think about them too much. I mean, there are so many alternate realities and different timelines and versions of events, and it's really difficult to think of WHO those characters actually are anymore. It's...really distressing really.

So if it's really bothering you that much, I suggest just taking a step back and watching a little less Who (or reading fic, or whatever). And maybe delve into some mindless, not-genre-at-all, all-set-in-one-timeline-with-no-weird-timey-wimey-stuff type show just to get your mind off it for a bit.
