I don't watch this show and I haven't noticed that before, but now I'm imagining the Doctor (Ten, for some reason) poking his head out of the TARDIS and saying, "OI! Take your romance somewhere else, would you?" Then to himself: "Trying to save the universe; everyone else is trying to boink..."

Oh, who am I kidding? I totally will. My hubby'll probably be pissed, but he'll get over it. He painted a huge X-men mural in our library, so he can hardly complain.

This would explain so much about the time discrepancies in the show.

That is why I couldn't stick with the show despite loving it otherwise. (Yes, I'm aware how strange it is that of all the problems with the show, that's the one that I couldn't deal with.)

Eh, to each their own. If it seriously bothers you to the point where you can't enjoy the show then it's fine to stop watching it. That's okay. Watching a show is all about what you get out of it and if you don't like what you get then why watch?

It just amused me so much that when I was watching it with my friend we had to pause the episode, rag on it, and then create a headcanon that Beacon Hills exists in some sort of Twilight Zone and no one inside notices the time problems unless they "Awaken" at some point. Even if they do realize what's happening most stay quiet about it because the rest of the residents will think they're crazy if they say anything.

This is barely related, but I remember that you and your friend like to watch TW and rag on it... so I'm s=wondering, do you have plans to do that to Hemlock Grove? Granted, with Hemlock Grove there isn't even much enjoyment to get out of it, but it is disgustingly bad.

Yes we do! It's sweet that you remember. In fact, we just finished the second season finale last night. 'Twas much fun.

Um, I don't even know what Hemlock Grove is. So probably not. If she knows what it is she could possibly persuade me. Before we do that though, she was hoping to get me to watch Vampire Diaries with her. I don't know if I want to know how much pain I'm going to be in watching that.

I'm never going to see that scene as anything other than a version of the Doctor in a REALLY bad mood informing Stiles that he's coming to see the universe with him and that's FINAL ever again.
