I'm trying to think if I have any ships involving characters of color. Of course, as soon as I start trying to think of them, I forget two-thirds of the shows I've ever watched. And most of them don't have very many CoCs to begin with (which is a different problem).

I liked and supported them, but not with the let me devour every fic and save all of the fanart intensity that I usually associate with "proper" shipping.

That's also how I feel about Sulu/Chekov.

Haha, that happens to me too.

I have some but most of them are smaller ships with little to no fandom and I'm not overtly enthusiastic or outspoken about them because of that.

Zoe/Wash is and will always be excellent!

I shipped Travis and Wes from Common Law SO HARD. SO HARD.

Luther/Alice from Luther.

Jessica/Harvey from Suits would be smoking hot, imo.

Also Andrea/Michonne (The Walking Dead) SHOULD'VE HAPPENED and near the end of last season of Once (Upon A Time) I started shipping Mulan and Aurora.

So...yea. Those are a few. (If anyone wants to rec me fic go ahead. >.>)

I ship Sherlock and Alfredo from Elementary, but now that Alfredo is Sherlock's sponsor, it seems inappropriate.

Well...it's not like fandom hasn't shipped far more inappropriate things than Sherlock/Alfredo. There's that?

NGL, I don't want them to hook up in the show but I love the idea of Sherlock/Joan.

Well, yeah. Hell, I've shipped more inappropriate things than that. I just... feel kinda of weird shipping a therapist/client relationship, and a sponsor is kind of like that. Of course, I know that this is my issue, and I don;t mind other people shipping them.

I understand. I'm not sure how I would feel about Sherlock/Joan while she was still his sober companion. Alfredo might not always be Sherlock's sponsor though! Of course you might LIKE him as Sherlock's sponsor too, so... idk.

Maybe you'll grow used to the idea! Or you could always prompt an AU where Alfredo isn't his sponsor? *says the person who isn't sure there's a kink meme*

Really really late reply to say that oh my god, someone else who cares about Common Law. Dude, the WHOLE SHOW is based off of their relationship + IT'S NAMED "COMMON LAW".

I'm so sad it was cancelled.

My friend was very obsessed with that and introduced me to it... I watched it yesterday and I really, really didn't expect it to be that gay.

You aren't the only one! There are at least four (or so) other people on f!s who really enjoyed the show (and I think shipped Wes/Travis), and back in the day it did have a small following on tumblr. I haven't checked the tumblr tag in a long while so it might be dead now, but there was definitely some support for the show.

Honestly, there are shows I'm watching now that I would gladly sacrifice for another season of Common Law. It was so cute and fun and the actors had great chemistry and Wes and Travis were just perfect together. *le sigh* AND THE FINALE. THE FINALE WAS SO AMAZING AND SHOWED THE SERIES HAD POTENTIAL! *sigh again* I miss it. I don't think anyone expected it to be that gay tbh. But it happened...and it was delightful.

So yea. :(
