Honestly I would just prefer they expand on the male characters they have shown. I like the little brother/ caretaker dynamic spike has with twilight, and Big Mac could use a little character development, and shining armor could be a good background addition to some of the adventure plots every once in awhile. They've got some decent male characters already they just need to utilize them.

Also to be fair, on the male fashionista side, they had Hoity Toity in season 1 and I felt he didn't go over the top into campy gay territory, but he was based on an actual fashion designer from what I remember so they are probably limited in his characterization.

Yes, he was based on Karl Lagerfeld and so he was still a snob.

I was more thinking of a young male pony who's just into fashion. He doesn't need to want to make it his profession. Just having a stereotypically feminine hobby without being camp gay.

I thought it was cute that they showed Big Mac with Twilight's old doll again. He's really adorable, I agree with you on expanding his character.
