Marvel fans are such fucking sheep. Express an opinion that's even slightly at variance from the norm and you're some kind of freak of nature.

AGREED. I've been slagged for not being happy with 'Annihilation: Conquest' so far (although I do love 'Wraith' the most, but that's only because I love Javi's work) among other things. Don't get me started on the occasional Beta Ray Bill hater, but alot of the boys at the Thor forum I frequent come to my defense whenever that happens.

And now I find him fascinating. For fuck's sake, aren't Marvel heroes supposed to be flawed? That's what makes them interesting!

Exactly. Sure, some of Tony's motives were questionable, but when you strip away the political subtext and all, IMHO he does have a fairly good point. But by the end of CW, I wanted to donkey punch Captain America, simply because his supporters on various message boards drove me up the proverbial wall. (Although that doesn't mean I hate Cap, by the way)

And man, the movie's going to ROCK. Have you seen the trailer? It's so sweet. I saw a bootleg taken by a camcorder at Comicon and I damned near screamed out loud.

Yes. Yes I have and it's made me all hyped for the film. Robert Downey Jr. = PERFECT casting choice ever. The [unrelated] animated film that was out last year was okay at best, but the live action film? I CAN'T WAIT. =D
