9. If I actually wrote fic I would probably do that too. What I hate about fics in which authors actually write that is that they're the ones least likely to be finished. But quite a few of them (on ff.net, I presume) are crappy writers anyway.

26. So now relationships are just based on attractiveness. Only things in the future for you guys are divorce and alimonies.

so you would withhold posting a FINISHED FIC chapter just to get reviews?

how is this not holding a fic for ransom? how is this different from someone who is writing and posting chapter by chapter and not posting the next part until they get X number of reviews?

Oh *headdesk* I meant finishing the fic first. Otherwise I'd just ... stop writing halfway and that would disappoint whoever actually liked it.

Heh even if I waited for reviews to post, it'll be some low number, like one or two per chapter. Just to see what kind of reaction/feedback the fic gets. Improvement, or tweaking, or development, etc. Or maybe just post one chapter every one or two days. Or one a week. Something regular, anyway. (I personally love authors who have a regular update schedule.)

Most important thing in my book is completing the fic and not to just leave it (and the readers) hanging.

But essentially yes, if I did write fic, I would like x ≥ 1 reviews per chapter.
