I mean, ANY social media is "tailor made for teenagers". Honestly there aren't a lot of teens on my dash, probably because I don't follow any and most of my fandoms consist of people in their mid-twenties or older

Exactly. If you don't want to deal with stereotype "new fandom" teen stuff... don't follow those people. Simple as that. It's pretty easy to tell, going into any fandom tag who might be up for a conversation about whatever meta topic you might want to chat about. Avoid the "OmgG ThAt IS SOoo COOL" crap, and you're fine.
