Does he behavior appeared to be brought on by anything (stress, etc.) or is just random? If something is triggering his emotional outbursts, maybe he just needs some kind of therapy to help handle his emotions. (I'm surprised the therapist just said "he's sensitive" and left it at that, that's why psychotherapy like DBT exists.) I mean, if I could go back in time and change things I would want to be medicated but I also am hesitant to slap a label on a kid and suggest he needs to be treated for a mental illness when maybe it's just that he has trouble with anger management, etc.

Honestly, I'm bipolar and he sounds a lot like me as a child
