Re: Laughing when uncomfortable?

I think it's a pretty common reflex that some people have. I sometimes crack up at really sad things for absolutely no reason. IMO, the best way to stop is to try to think about why you're laughing. It's probably something like an unconscious defense mechanism because you don't want to feel a certain way about something or you don't know what to do, and laughing about it makes it less of a big deal. Or something. I'm no psychologist, just guessing.
