Bjork's music is quirky and uncoventional from what I can tell, so you either like that sort of thing or you don't. But for the life of me I cannot get what is the hate for Lana del Ray. Her music feels conventional and hip and the degree of backlash against her, oh my god, what is that? Where did it come from?

(I first heard Lana del Ray on SNL and thought, "Oh, wow! A new singer that I really like, how cool!" And to discover how much hate there was for her with her SNL appearance and everything after that, wow. What? I wouldn't mind discussing what is distressing folk so, because as I say she seems just another conventional musician to me.)
