Re: pads or tampons?

I had the same impression in high school, almost like it was some kind of ritual thing, but I never bothered much with it and I always stuck with pads. I still do now - I try tampons from time to time, but I can always feel them (not always literally, unless I mess up the insertion, but more like I become hyper hyper aware of my body), and because my flow is always really unpredictable I end up having to remove half dry tampons half the time and that just feels way too uncomfortable. Pads work perfectly fine for me 99,9% of the time, so I prefer to stick with them unless I'm feeling adventurous for some reason.

That was a lot of information about a something that requires an either/or answer.

hahahaha it's okay. I totally agree with your first part-- I remember doing the "girls health" class in 5th grade or whenever that was and feeling like pads were just training devices for people who weren't ready for tampons. And I just... never became ready for tampons haha

Lol yeah, that's pretty much what it was like for me. Every time I've tried tampons I've ended up saying fuck it, pads work way better.
