For me, it's not SJ that I have an issue with, it's how some people in the movement are aggressively acting towards people who disagree with.

Well, for what it's worth, I hate getting called an SJW all the time just because I tend to point out the issues. SJWarriors are the ones going completely overboard, stalking people IRL and stuff like that when they see someone using the word "bitch" once.

People like that do more harm than good. They just think they're the good guys.

What you're doing is fine in my book; I put "some people" in my post for a reason. I don't really go out of my way to point out to people because I really hate the discussions they tend to turn into and always feel like I saying stuff wrong, but hey if you can do that type of stuff, more power to you! :D!

Well, I don't mind that. Personally, I'd also rather have someone "call" me out rather than go on hurting someone, and I don't think malicious and deliberately hurtful behavior should be tolerated.

But somehow there seems to be a line between that and this weird kind of "SJ culture" fandom has cultivated that... well, to be blunt, just doesn't know what the fuck it's doing half the time.

Though, yeah, it's hard to really criticize anything but the extremes when the usual response to "hey, this is shitty, here's why you need to stop!" is a flood of idiocy about reverse *isms, MRA bullshit, and how we just need to stop seeing differences packed in with the occasional (or not-so-occasional) violent threat.
