As someone who's parents went through a very messy divorce, I have to agree. As crappy as the divorce and related drama were, it was still better than the way things were at home beforehand.

Yeah and frankly, having grown up with parents who probably should not have stayed together, I can say that being the child of two people who don't love each other anymore but are staying together for you doesn't makes your life pretty sucky too, and gives you a not great view of relationships either.
