People tend to assume I don't know my way around tech stuff, and to be surprised when it turns out I do. Several times I've had guys try to do things for me rather than answer my questions on, say, a computer issue.

That sucks, I don't experience that ever. It might be in the way I express myself*? Or because I've been lucky? Or possibly some other reason, I have no idea...

*People constantly tell me that I talk like I know what I am doing.
