Because fandom is so tiny that saying the names wouldn't do it, A robot monkey and a plush penguin. It was total crack, but the scary thing is somebody wrote a sequel for it with more thought put into it than the original.

I've paired two books together. As in, literal books (pun at your leisure).

I've also paired two spaceships together, or paired spaceships with their captains/pilots.

And I wrote one crossover pairing involving Cthulhu, which I think automatically qualifies.

Also, a dragon with ghost, although that was an AU fusion thing.

I think it's a toss-up between Tron/OMC/OMC/OMC/OMC/OMC (plus some more that were implied) and Everyone/Everyone in Inception.

Rita Skeeter/Hermione Granger. Yes, Hermione was a consenting adult in this fic, and yes, the majority of their dialogue did consist of them insulting each other.

Topher Brink from Dollhouse/Skylar Adams from Alphas. The most obscure, random pairing in the entire world, but I swear Skylar's daughter looks so much like him that there's no other explanation. And Alphas got canceled before it could tell us anything about Zoe's father, so I'm not budging from my theory.
